Shiralea Backpackers Resort is located at Haad Yao on Koh Phangan in Thailand. The resort is situated within leafy, tropical coconut palms just two minutes from the beach with a large swimming pool, restaurant and bar. With the feel of a jungle resort, Shiralea is just moments away from the nightlife of Haad Yao and the plentiful daytime activities along the beachfront.

Shiralea is designed to replace the traditional style bungalows that have disappeared from Haad Yao over the last few years and replaced by larger resorts and hotels. The rates are low priced and allow guests to stay on one of Koh Phangans most beautiful beach locations at a very cost effective price.

The coconut wood bungalows have thatched roofs and can hold up to four guests with options of fan cooled or air conditioning. Each hut has a private bathroom, fan, covered veranda with hammock and are well spaced out across the grounds to create a sense of personal space and privacy. From August 2010 there will also be a range of bamboo bungalows on offer with a choice of double or twin beds, a cold shower, WC and private bathroom.

The resort offers a variety of activities for guests looking for an adventurous holiday or alternatively a peaceful and tranquil location to sunbathe, swim and chill out.
